The arrangement is nice, but I somehow get a sense that something could be added, maybe a mossy covered rock in the background. This piece just feels a little more empty than your usual ones. I also agree with satur1 that the hair needs to match the motion taking place. another issue I have is that the water, excluding the splashes at her feet, doesn't look like water, but I do understand the complexities of creating water in any art form, seeing as in 3D renderings and video games it is still an almost impossible feat. The texture and light variation on the hair are quite good as always, and I feel like there is descent attention to the folds and crevices of the clothes. I also feel like there should be more emphasis on the knee caps so that the shading looks more like shading, and less like bruises/ blemishes. All in all, I hate to admit, but I feel as though this is a bit of a step down from your usual quality of work, but I still thank you for your time and effort and for sharing this with us.
